Snuba is form of surface-supplied diving that uses an underwater breathing system that blends together snorkeling and scuba diving, bridging the gap between the two. This perfect combination allows you to explore the underwater world of Sint Maarten where you will discover her beauty beneath the surface of warm, crystal-clear waters.
Snuba Experience
Just a short, easy walk from the cruise ship pier will lead you to your snuba adventure while in St. Maarten where you will soon experience the underwater, colorful world of the warm Caribbean Sea.
After arriving at the local marina, you will meet your professional staff at the snuba facility. Your licensed guides will help with your paperwork and instruct you with a boat and safety briefing. Now it's time to take to the open water and make your way out to Little Bay where your adventure awaits.
Be given a briefing on all things snuba and then prepare to take the plunge and meet the underwater world without wearing heavy equipment, swimming near freely underwater while able to breathe and feel like a fish in the water. Discover the underwater world teeming with life that is just below the surface where you can see many types of tropical fish, wrecks and corals.
Your group is kept to a small number of guests allowing for a very personal and relaxed experience. Your guide will take pictures of you and your family on this incredible water adventure so you can have memories to recall for years to come.

We recommend wearing comfortable, casual clothing over your swimsuit and comfortable walking shoes. Bring bio-friendly sunscreen. (No spray or put it on before stepping onto our boat). No smoking allowed at all. No drinking before experience. Please remember to bring a beach towel from your ship.

Mr. Miller is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Abercrombie & Kent, the World's leading luxury travel company. In that role, Mr. Miller was responsible for contributing to Abercrombie & Kent's international growth through the development and acquisition of tour products and travel experiences around the world with a specific focus on cruising and land based experiences. Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world. Mr. Bonner also helped co-manage Viking River Cruises U.S. Operations, and he ran the corporate, strategic, and deployment planning functions at Royal Caribbean. While at Royal Caribbean, Mr. Bonner was responsible for forming Royal Celebrity Tours, Royal Caribbean's land-based tour operation in Alaska, which takes cruise passengers on multiple day tours through the interior of Alaska either before or after their cruises. Prior to working at Royal Caribbean, Mr. Bonner was a consultant for Booz Allen & Hamilton.
