St. Maarten Half Day Snorkeling & Catamaran Sailing
"Come Sail Away," the Styx song beckons. You'll be glad you joined this St. Maarten Catamaran Sail and Snorkel Adventure.
Sailing from the Great Bay of Philipsburg, you will see history, beautiful scenery, and incredible villas and yachts. Enjoy the incredible view as you sail along the coast past the ruins of Fort Amsterdam, Little and Cay Bays, and Pelican Key on your St. Maarten Catamaran Tour.
The Catamaran holds up to 24 guests in comfort and is more than 40 feet in length. There is a spacious sun deck, as well as a shaded area. Snorkel gear is provided for those wishing to explore the undersea world.There is a freshwater shower for after, as well as restrooms on board. After the last snorkel stop, homemade bush teas, rums and tastings of locally made specialties along with our signature rum punch and beer will be added to the "open bar". Sandwiches, cheeses, crackers and fresh fruit are added. Juice, soda, water and snacks will be available throughout the day.
Depending on the weather conditions that day, your captain will set a course for best snorkeling stops. Our first stop over a shipwreck and sunken helicopter from long ago. Here the stories of history are unfolded. Then jump in, where you will have an unforgettable experience of watching underwater life. Enjoy the fish feeding as hundreds of fish swim around you in our famous water park. Next we stop at Mullet Bay Beach, the lagoon, and for some swimming, snorkeling, floating and just relaxing. Our third stop will be at the famous landmark of Maho Beach. Watch overhead as planes land at the International Princess Juliana Airport. When pods of dolphins are sighted we take the time to stay for a while for photos and enjoy the playfulness. No two trips are alike.
All too soon, it will be time to turn for home. On the return trip to Philipsburg, the friendly crew will pamper and entertain you with St. Maarten legends and some island music.

Special Instructions
We recommend wearing a bathing suit under comfortable clothing and sensible walking shoes. Shoes must be removed while on the boat. A beach towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses are also suggested.
Restrictions
Guests must be able to pull themselves from the water using the boat's ladder, have basic swimming skills, and feel comfortable in the water. This tour is not recommended for guests over the age of 70. Participants must be of reasonable health, must not rely on oxygen tanks or have any major breathing issues, and must be cleared of major medical issues by a medical doctor prior to the tour date. Though some special medical requests may be accommodated, prior notification and approval is necessary.

In that role, Mr. Miller was responsible for contributing to Abercrombie & Kent's international growth through the development and acquisition of tour products and travel experiences around the world with a specific focus on cruising and land based experiences. Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world. Mr. Bonner also helped co-manage Viking River Cruises U.S. Operations, and he ran the corporate, strategic, and deployment planning functions at Royal Caribbean.
